Jeanel came to the area 20 years ago and founded her company in 2003 as one of the first official real estate agencies to be established in the area.
Throughout the years she was able to educate herself meeting lots of people and gathering valuable information about the area and the real estate market. She has and extended knowledge on concession laws and regulations.
“ This is not a usual market like you find in the US or Europe, we don’t have a proper MLS and most of the listings are open for anybody to sell`. In Costa Rica no concrete laws are established about selling real estate and everybody can be a “agent” which is not always at the best interest of the client. All properties have different rules and regulations and water and electricity are not standard , therefore it is crucial for the client to connect with the right people and assure themselves they are in professional hands with no potential conflict of interest” She says.
As a licensed broker and a 20 year resident of Costa Rica she knows more than any other that buying or selling real estate in a foreign country can present itself with unique challenges and requires the help of a professional team with extended knowledge about the area and current market conditions.
Her company has created an extended database throughout the years and has the know-how on how to guide their clients through the process of buying/selling real estate and connect them with the right people to eventually lead it to a successful sale.

Her passion is fashion and music she also loves Costa Rica´s beautiful nature, to travel and of course her 17 year old son who was born and raised here and lives with her in the Mal pais area.
